Success of seed business is correlated with the consistency in the seed quality. Obviously, the Quality Assurance Department is the major strength of the seed company. Quality Assurance Department functions from farm level to ensure the genetic purity during seed production and the second wing i.e., Seed Testing Laboratory ensures the Physical purity, Germination, Viability, Vigour, Seed Health and the ‘n’ number of Qualitative parameters. We are strictly adhered to maintain the Indian Minimum Seed Certification Standards and norms.
Seed Testing Laboratory with modern equipment with all facilities is established. Trained and dedicated manpower is deployed in the Quality Assurance Department of Patara Seeds. QC department is working with due emphasis on Physical Purity, Seed Health, Germination, Viability and Vigour tests etc., Genetic Purity of the produced seed lots are done as per prescribed standards.
Our Quality Assurance not only assures the quality of the seed but also monitors the seed Processing, Seed Treatment, Packing, Logistics and dispatches to the market procedures. Finally, it monitors till the seed goes into the hands of the end user i.e., FARMER.
Once the samples of seed lots go through stringent testing activities and qualify in all the parameters then only released for packing and marketing. QC also ensures the performance in the farmer’s fields by visiting randomly to reassurance and farmer’s satisfaction.
