PABPL was established in 2003 by Sri Paturu Subba Reddy, Chairman & Managing Director, postgraduate in Business Management, who also hails from a farming family. With a deep conviction to serve and provide the best cultivars (hybrids & varieties) and high quality seed at an affordable price to the farming community. PABPL In-house R&D is recognized by DSIR, Ministry of Science and Technology, New Delhi in 2010 and also PABPL is an ISO 9001 – 2015 certified Company. Company developed Hybrids and Varieties are being marketed under the Brand “PATURU SEEDS” a widely known brand and well accepted by the farming community and trade for its high quality seed and superior product performance. The Company research wing is engaged in developing proprietary Hybrids and high yielding research Varieties in Paddy, Hybrid Rice, Maize, Millet (Bajra), Sorghum (Jowar), Sunflower, Mustard and Vegetable crops that suit to different agro climatic zones across the Country.
Company is actively involved in seed production, seed conditioning, packing and marketing of high quality seeds of its mandate crops. PABPL emphasis is to take the research achievements to their logical conclusions viz; development of premium products and their seed production, quality of seed and finally distribution through an extensive and well established marketing network. The company established two research farms to support research activities and eight multi-location testing centers spread across the country to evaluate and identify the new products in varied agro-climatic regions.
PABPL holds a good collection of diverse germplasm in field and vegetable crops, which facilitates our research work to embark upon genetic enhancement and crop improvement programs. The Company has entered into research collaborations with SAUs, RARS and other research organizations to evaluate and to further Select, identify & shortlist the products for commercialization .
Over the years, our seed production activities have expanded to more than 10000 acres with 1000 and odd seed growers across five states.
PABPL is in a position to service a plethora of cropping patterns in India and our market presence has grown appreciably and our marketing activities are expanded on PAN India.
PABPL has commissioned its modern seed conditioning plant and fully equipped Quality Assurance Lab at Kesavapatnam, Shankarpatnam Mandal, Karimnagar Dist., Telangana.
